Information we collect

When you fill out a form on our website, such as scheduling a discovery call, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, school or organization, your role, and the county of your event location. We also keep records of correspondence when you contact us. As you browse the site, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and similar usage data, through cookies and analytics tools described below.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries, schedule and conduct discovery calls, prepare quotes and administer bookings, send confirmations, reminders, and service updates by email and, with your consent, by text message, improve our website and services, and comply with legal obligations.

Text messaging (SMS)

Consent to receive text messages from us is obtained through optional checkboxes or explicit opt-in forms on our website. Agreeing to receive text messages is never a condition of purchase, booking, or receiving services. Mobile phone number and opt-in privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to any third parties. We may share mobile data solely with service providers (such as SMS platform aggregators and messaging software) that directly assist us in delivering our text messages to you.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share information only: with service providers and subcontractors who perform services on our behalf, such as scheduling, communications, and website hosting, and who may use it only to perform those services; when required by law, court order, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others; and in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of our business, in which case we will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Our website is intended strictly for adults (such as school administrators, teachers, PTA/PTO leaders, and event planners) and is not directed to or intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 through our website. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us through our website forms, please contact us at jasonm@thereelorb.com, and we will promptly delete such information.

School engagement note: Personal data of minor students attending our on-site mobile planetarium shows is not collected, stored, or processed via this website. Any photo or media captures during on-site school presentations are governed separately by our Service Agreement and applicable school district permissions.

Your choices and opt-out rights

Email marketing: You can opt out of receiving promotional or marketing emails from us at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email or by contacting us directly.

Analytics and advertising cookies: You can manage or disable cookies through your web browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across the web, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
